“The entire team is thrilled and honored to be selected as Processor of the Year from such an esteemed group of candidates,” the company said in a statement about the honor. “It is amazing to be recognized for all of the incredibly hard work it takes to bring premium quality food, industry-leading food safety practices and unique culinary experiences to customers, food service clients and chef partners.”

Ray Rastelli Jr. with his son, Ray Rastelli III (Vice President) and son-in-law, Michael Carr (Director of Marketing & Public Relations) participated in a two-round interview process to make the case for family-owned and operated Rastelli Foods Group. The selection focused on Rastelli’s global food service capabilities, growing partnerships with home delivery food kit programs, retail expansion, co-packing partnerships with unique food products like Daymond John-backed Bubba’s Q Boneless Ribs and status as the leading food brand on QVC.

“Rastelli Foods Group has grown in many ways since the last time the company was featured by National Provisioner. Processor of the Year is a great opportunity to share the growth, expansion and evolution of the Rastelli family of companies, products and programs over the past three years.”

The award is the second from National Provisioner for Rastelli Foods Group. They first came in 2015, when Rastelli was voted Plant of the Year amidst the expansion of their Swedesboro, NJ headquarters.
