Job Description
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:
- Prepare daily/monthly journal entries including:
- Line of credit transactions
- Payroll entries
- Cash account transactions
- Enter daily cash receipts
- Prepare bank deposits
- Perform month-end close, and maintain a closing checklist
- Enter expense accruals
- Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations including:
- Bank
- Inter-company accounts
- AR/AP aging to general ledger
- Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting
- ork with outside accounting firm to maintain accurate depreciation schedule
- Prepare credit applications
- Assist in bank and financial statement audits
Related Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Solid knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Strong computer skills; Excel and Word Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Analytical thinker
- Team player willing to learn and share ideas
- Strong interpersonal skills
